Pediatric Cardiologists & Cardiovascular Surgeons

The Children's Heart Clinic is a group of 9 pediatric cardiologists and 2 pediatric cardiovascular surgeons, all board certified, operating as a center for the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease in the fetus, infant, child, and young adult. We serve patients in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area and the surrounding region.

Dr. Kirsten Dummer recently joined the Children's Heart Clinic after completing her pediatric cardiology fellowship at Children's Hospital, Boston.  In addition to training in pediatric cardiology, Dr. Dummer is one of the few cardiologists trained in the care of adults with congenital heart disease.  She will begin co-directing the Minnesota Adult Congenital Heart Center with Dr. James Perry who will be joining us October 1, 2007.  Dr. Perry comes to us from Yale University where he was a Professor of Pediatrics and Chief of Pediatric Cardiology.  Dr. Perry helped start the successful Yale-New Haven Adult Congenital Heart Program.  In addition, he will continue his work in pediatric and congenital electrophysiology.  Appointments can be made for both Dr. Dummer and Dr. Perry by calling our Minneapolis office at 612-813-8800.
