Perinatal Cardiology
A CHC pediatric cardiologist is available for consultation in fetal cardiac problems including the diagnosis and management of fetal arrhythmias, hydrops fetalis, and structural or functional heart disease.
Pediatric Consultation

Cardiothoracic Surgery
Cardiothoracic Surgery is performed at Children's Hospital and Clinics in Minneapolis or St. Paul.
Echocardiography
The Children's Heart Clinic performs more than 3000 studies per year and provides interpretive services on more than 2000 per year from across the region.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging - MRI
MRI studies are a non-invasive way to provide detailed information on a patient's heart and blood vessels on specific conditions.
Cardiac Catheterization
Cath services are available for treatment and evaluation of both adults and children with congenital heart disease and for pediatric patients with acquired heart disease.

MACC Center
(Midwest Adult Congenital Cardiac) center. Dr's Dummer and Perry will see adult patients with Congenital Heart Disease in their Thursday afternoon Minneapolis clinic. Appointments can be made by calling 612-813-8800.
Pacemaker Clinic
Our pacemaker clinic follows more than 250 patients with either an implanted pacemaker or an implanted cardioverter defibrillator.
Arrhythmia Monitoring
The Children's Heart Clinic also offers arrhythmia monitoring services. Several types of devices are used including 24-hour holter, King of Hearts, Cardiomemo and Heartrak.
Exercise Stress Testing
A fully equipped exercise laboratory is available on site. Services include stress EKG and echocardiography utilizing a treadmill or bicycle ergometer.
Immediate EKG Interpretation
Is available by FAX Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The cardiologist on call will review the EKG and the interpretation will be FAXed back to you usually within an hour.
Lipid Clinic
CHC provides evaluation, counseling, dietary guidance and medical management for children with significant abnormalities of cholesterol and triglycerides.
Telemedicine Capabilities
State of the Art telemedicine services are available to review echocardiogram studies and chest X-rays on a real-time basis.
