Improving lives one heart at a time.

Caleigh's Story

Dr. Gregory Wright cared for our daughter, Caleigh, almost 14 years ago. Caleigh, who has Turner Syndrome, had a coarctated aorta, which was corrected when she was 4 1/2 months old, and has a bicuspid aortic valve. In the years since we left MN (1999), Caleigh has seen several different cardiologists as well as participated in the Healthy Heart program through the TSS-US with Dr. Michael Silberbach. Every single doctor who has seen an echocardiogram of hers, without exception, tells us the repair (done by the amazing Dr. Hovald Helseth) is so good, they wouldn't find it if they didn't know they were looking for it. We are so grateful for the excellent care she recieved, and often want to say "thank you" again to Dr. Wright and everyone at the Heart Clinic. On top of the excellent repair, Dr. Wright was in the operating room and called us to let us know how Caleigh was doing throughout the procedure. Everyone made a very scary experience much more bearable. Caleigh is a happy, healthy teenager, with no activity restrictions. Thank you!
